Noticed many people don’t make this trip simply because they do’t know how, or at least how easy.
There are a few other ways (KTX Train, Cabs, and City bus that can be used, however this is the easiest)
Useful info:
Taxi ride to Express Bus Station: 16,000-18,000 Won (up to 4 passengers)
DELUXE Bus to Seoul (Recommended) 18,200 Won
Regular Bus to Seoul 12,800 Won
T-Money Card (pictured) 4,000 Won (One time purchase)
Each Subway ride costs around 1,050-1,250 Won. (Super cheap)
Sinchon is only a 15minute walk from Hongdae, or a 3,000 Won taxi ride. To return to the subway simply tell the taxi driver “Sinchon Rotary”
